Since 2003, I have supported over 2000 families through early pregnancy, new parenthood, and wellness with expert prenatal and postpartum yoga and bodywork, childbirth education, and baby massage instruction. This is my life's work.

Why Bami Yoga?

My own yoga practice and all my teachings are centered on the conscious use of the breath to balance body and mind, and access our intuition. "To breathe" then, is to bring awareness to our breath and how we can harness its power to bring together strength and courage with trust and surrender, allowing us to be at our best through the amazing joys and challenges of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood.

With over 20 years experience, I am dedicated to enhancing your journey. My role is to help you cultivate strength, flexibility, courage, confidence, and a deep sense of trust through breath, movement, massage, and self-reflection.

In 2019, I moved my practice to Frisco, TX, so that I can focus on serving the community I live in (and shorten my commute time, too!)

My own Journey and Hobbies...

Originally from Belgium, I was recruited as a French teacher while still in College and moved to Louisiana in 1993. It was exciting, yet stressful, and yoga became my tool of choice to maintain a sense of peace. With my teacher's support, I became a yoga teacher soon after as well as a massage therapist.

My passion for working with couples through the childbearing year started in 2000 when one of my 2 older sisters had a difficult pregnancy and birth back in Belgium. It prompted me to pursue specializations in prenatal and postpartum yoga and bodywork care and led me to the path I am still on today.

When I am not teaching, you can find me on local nature trails, at the gym, swimming laps at an outside pool, hanging out with my "Class of 2019 I can't believe he's now a nearly adult" son, watching a romantic movie, reading a great book, or having fun on the dance floor and hanging out with my girlfriends.
